At Seaton’s Custom Cabinetry, we understand that creating that the custom work you want cannot be done without…you! So we make sure we’re communicating with you at every step of the process to make sure that the work we’re doing matches with your vision.
Here’s how our process works:
Free In-Home Consultation
You begin your journey with Seaton’s Custom Cabinetry with a free In-home consultation (you can schedule that here). This is where we’ll talk to you about your wants, needs and style. Being in your home allows us to get a sense of the full picture and get the vision. We’ll also take preliminary measurements to prepare a proposal and quote.
Everything we make at Seaton’s is built to client specifications and designs. Once you’ve communicated your vision to us, we’ll create an outline of the project. When we’re done, you’ll receive this along with a written quote.
From there, we’ll work with you to refine the project details and make sure we have everything just right. You’ll be completely comfortable that we understand what you had in mind when you sign the contract.
Measurements and Material Procurement
During this phase, we take careful measurements to prepare shop drawing. We do this with our 3-D AutoCAD design system, CabinetWare, to which allows us to turn your dream into a plan. We also purchase materials and create a tentative installation timeline.
Construction Drawing Approval
Once you’ve approved everything, your project goes into production. Cut lists are developed by the production team.
Since each of our pieces is hand-crafted and built-to-size, the average timeline for completion is 4-6 weeks after you’ve approved the construction drawings. As we build, we’ll continue to communicate with you to verify specifications and offer enhancements.
Once your piece is finished – on time – it is professionally installed by our own employees. It is customized to fit your space, style and dreams!
